Halogen 12/20 Off Road Pro |
Li-Ion 2010 with two Lamps
This classic Halogen off road system has won more awards than any other light since it was first introduced in 2004. Amazingly enough in MBUKs Oct 2008 light test it was compared against competitors 4 led systems and yet the testers said it had the most spread and reach of any of those systems. That is crazy! Halogen is not dead! On a fullly charged battery this system pumps out close to 1000 Lumens! Specially for D2D we've dropped the price from £199-99 to £169-99. We reckon that's the cheapest 1000 Lumens you'll find.
Ultra-lightweight Sanyo Lithium Ion (Li-Ion) batteries overdrive the lamp by 20% producing a massive 60% increase in brightness whilst maintaining staggeringly long run times. The 4.4 Amp/Hour Pro battery comes in a frame mount bag that fits simply with one strap. A Li-Ion two stage fast charger is included.
The 12 Watt Spot and 20 Watt Flood is the ideal off road combination. The 12 Watt spot has proved to be the perfect off road light providing s a penetrating beam but still with a good halo of light for periphary vision. The 12 watt lamp will run for nearly 4 hours. For very dark areas, woods or technical sections the 20 Watt Flood gives a huge spread of light for over 2 Hours. Combined together these lights produce an ideal off road system with independently switchable lamps and beams. This system places the light exactly where you need i, when you want it.
Remember it's no big deal to choose other lamps to go in the lamp units. Spare lamps cost just £8-99 and are easy to swap over. The lamp units can be fitted or removed from the bike in seconds. They're also independently switchable for total control.

Li-Ion lamp burn times| Lamp | 20 % Over-volted Power | Lumen Output | Burn Time Elite | Burn Time Pro | Burn Time Endurance | About the Lamp | Second Lamp |
| 12 Watt 8° Spot | 15.8 Watts | 370 Lumens | 1.9 Hours | 3.8 Hours | 5.7 Hours | The 12 watt spot is the perfect lamp for singletrack or use on the road. It has a penetrating beam but also a wide halo to give lots of confidence. This is a very efficient lamp. Don't leave home without it | Use with any of the other lamps. Also pretty good with another 12 Watt Spot | | 20 Watt 30° Flood | 26 Watts | 650 Lumens | 1.1 Hours | 2.2 Hours | 3.3 Hours | The 20 Flood is great for illuminating technical sections or in the woods. Not recommenced for on road use except in slow heavy moving urban traffic where being seen at all costs is vital | Ideally paired with the 12 Watt Spot as the ultimate off road combo. The 20 Flood is used as the extra lamp to illuminate technical or wooded sections. |
