Utilizing the same high-output CREE XPGs, and a wide optic, it focuses all its energy into a wide beam that gives the rider a big pool of light. Two important safety aspects make this light well-suited to road riders and commuters especially. The high-power light features a glow-ring that helps you to be seen from the side by other road users, essential when passing a left-hand side road, turning right or in heavy city traffic being seen by vehicles waiting alongside you at traffic lights. It also features an integral eyelid that helps prevent any upward glare to the rider. You can use this lamp unit either with the physically small, powerful Elite 2.6Ah battery or if you wish to double the runtime you should choose the Pro 5.2Ah battery. Existing Lumicycle customers can upgrade to this lamp unit using their existing battery if it is still in good condition and giving good runtimes. They can use a Lithium-Ion or NiMH type battery. This makes this Lamp unit an ideal upgrade path.

The LED4Si is the big brother to the LED3Si. The LED4Si features the most penetrating beam of all the Lumicycle lights making it most suited to fast road riding. The beam width is also slightly wider than the LED3Si and this also makes the LED4Si a very good off road light. Two important safety aspects make this light well-suited to road riders and commuters. The high-power light features a glow-ring that helps you to be seen from the side by other road users, essential when passing a left-hand side road, waiting to turn right onto a main road and on roundabouts.
