Hi, I got my 12 watt Li-Ion system last week and have been extremely impressed with it. When I first turned it on it was a twilight evening and I thought it didn't seem that bright compared to the LED lights that most people in my cycling club use, however, when it got really dark it was amazing, 20-25 mph on unlit roads felt perfectly safe, not only was I lighting up my path I was illuminating the path of the rider in front as well. Also I was sure that oncoming cars gave me a wider berth. Thank you for an excellent light set.

Just to let you know 20 hours after ordering my Elite26 spot I was on the road using it. Alan had suggested that the output of my previous cateye battery light would be equivalent of somewhere between commute and low. In fact my previous light was lower than my lumicycle commute! It felt much much more secure and steady, and in fact on this first ride I didn't use anything other than communte. Sept 2009
