Initial impressions: My Halide Pro kit arrived on time, well-packed, and I was amazed to find how easy to use it is. Wearing my favourite anorak I'd read the instructions carefully, but they were quite un-necessary. The lamp unit is a thing of beauty, precision-engineered and elegant. The battery pack is pleasantly small and lightweight for such a powerful unit and fits snug under my top tube. And the beam is fantastic. In brightly lit town riding in heavy traffic, I felt safe knowing the car drivers couldn't fail to see me. In dimmer streets I could see the potholes way in front of me so I could keep up a decent speed in confidence. I can see my evening ride home being a much more pleasant experience from now on.
